Well my rather long absence from here has not been in vain, I’ve been working on a pretty special project..
13 week bump
He or she is due in April and we’re really excited! I’ve started crocheting a little blanket using the Granny Stripe method from Attic24 and I’m sure there’ll be a quilt on the go soon too.
So this all means that I won’t be able to keep up with a new project a week here. However I want to keep the blog going, and the monthly themes. So the plan is that we still share projects and ideas each month and I’ll try to make at least one item per theme. What do you think?
There’s no obligation to replicate this particular project though!
Congratulations, on your very wonderful news! And yes, I think it will be fun to continue the blog and share information on our crafts. Let’s just make it fun and not feel pressured to complete our projects on a definite schedule, instead let’s just enjoy ourselves. My latest project is a quilted table mat. I have the top completed and now I am assembling the backing, then I will quilt all the layers together. As soon as I become a bit more computer literate about how to post photos here I will do that.
